I just recently tried out the ever-so-famous nano ice cream! It was such a delicious snack and are great for those who are eating healthy. I was so pleasantly surprised with the results that I decided to post it on here. It’s very quick to make and it’s absolutely perfect for summer!
What you’ll need:
2 frozen bananas 1 Tsp nuts/seeds of your choice 1 serving of fruit Food Processor
- Slice your bananas into pieces, then lay them out on your Saran wrap. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until frozen.
- After your bananas are ice hard, remove the Saran wrap and place them in the food processor. Blend, until your banana resemble dry crumbles.
- At this point, you can add any flavouring that you wish, ( nutella, peanut butter, jam, honey) which I do NOT recommend as for it doesn’t take as good without the natural sweetening. Plus, it’s not as healthy:)
- Keep blending, until mixture has nice, smooth consistency and texture. Scrape your ice cream out of the food processor. Serve with your own choices of toppings.
For my toppings, I went for a honey glaze, pumpkin seeds, fresh mangoes, and a tablespoon of jam. Other possible toppings include:
- Peanut Butter
- Whipped Cream
- Any other fruit
- Chocolate Chips
- Mini marshmallows
If you are allergic to bananas, blueberry and mango nano ice cream works just as well! Although the consistency department will be a bit lacking, it will still taste amazing. 🙂
